Aprofito per...

Un error que he vist centenars de vegades en emails de feina és utilitzar el verb "to profit" igual que com ho fem en la nostra llengua.


Per exemple, quan volem afegir alguna cosa de l'estil: "aprofito per recordar-te que...".
En aquest cas, NO hem de dir/escriure: "I profit to remind you..." perquè el verb "to profit" vol dir "treure profit (tangible) d'una cosa, normalment diners".

Aquí us poso algunes alternatives*:
- I would like to take the opportunity to remind you ... (formal)
- I take the opportunity to remind you ...
- I would also like to remind you...
